While all of your genealogy friends talk about spending their hard-earned cash on expensive subscriptions and travel, you can listen quietly and smile about the money you’ve saved with your budget genealogy skills. On Saturday, December 14, from 12-1 p.m. Jeffersonville Township Public Library’s Genealogy and Local History Librarian Diane “Tightwad” Stepro will present an installment of her Budget Genealogy series. In this session, you will learn the importance of trying to disprove your own research in order to strengthen it. It may sound crazy, but this kind of negative thinking can improve your research and your confidence in your abilities as a genealogist. This presentation, which will be held at the main library, is recommended for teen and adult patrons.
