Our instructor, Mr. James Sowders, has taught sign language for 50 years.  Mr. Sowders graduated from Murray State University with a degree in speech pathology, so teaching sign language was a natural progression for him.  After graduation, he taught at both the University of Kentucky and his Alma mater, Murray State University.  Even though the class is earmarked for adults, those ages 12 & up are welcome to attend.
