Event Details

Please join us for a very special program on the 1937 flood.  The 80th anniversary of the flood was recognized in January of this year and to commemorate that date, we will be showing the documentary 1937:  Mud, Sweat & Tears:  A Community Remembers the Flood.  After the showing, a community conversation, moderated by Stephen T. Day, will take place.  Mr. Day is the former director of the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library.  The DVD will run 32 minutes in length.  For those of you who remember the actual flood, it is our hope that you will come out and share your thoughts and reflections, so that we can all gain a firsthand account of what that time in our history was really like.
